Would you like to be a crucial part of bringing cultured meat to market, having a massive positive impact on the world?

Would you love to collaborate with an international team of world-class scientists and engineers in a fast-paced and exciting start-up environment?

Are you ready to tackle the unique IT challenges that come with pioneering food technologies, ensuring seamless communication and operational efficiency across our international team?

What is the purpose of your role?

As an IT intern your primary responsibility is to ensure the stable operation of our internal computer systems, providing technical assistance that keeps our network, software, and hardware running efficiently.

Your efforts are fundamental in enabling the team to focus on their tasks without technical disruptions, thereby supporting the overarching goals of the organization.

What are your key responsibilities?

Provide timely technical support for end-users, resolving issues related to software, hardware, and network systems to minimize downtime and maintain business productivity.

Perform regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance of IT infrastructure, safeguarding against potential security threats and technical problems.

Assist in the documentation and inventory management of IT assets, contributing to the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.

What else will you do?

Collaborate with the IT team to roll out new software updates and tools, helping to streamline organizational workflows and improve operational efficiencies.

Participate in IT projects, such as setting up new workstations or organizing network layout changes, gaining hands-on experience with diverse IT operations.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking an IT intern who exhibits strong problem-solving skills, capable of swiftly diagnosing and addressing technical issues to keep our systems running smoothly. The candidate must be currently enrolled in a Middelbaar Beroepsonderwijs (MBO) program, demonstrating a commitment to both theoretical and practical aspects of IT education.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication abilities, both for troubleshooting with team members and for translating tech jargon into understandable terms for all staff. This role demands a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

We value an eagerness to learn and grow within the field, expecting the intern to show initiative in independently seeking out new solutions and demonstrating a drive to continuously expand their technical expertise.

The role requires a team-oriented mindset, someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is adaptable to the evolving needs of a dynamic workplace. This position offers the opportunity to apply MBO coursework in a practical setting, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world IT challenges.

Please be aware that we are more likely to consider EU citizens, for this position and all other Internships. This is due to specific visa requirements for applicants coming from outside the EU.

  • Enjoy an enterprising work culture in an international environment.
