What is the purpose of the role?

You will support research and development activities in daily operations, perform technical troubleshooting of equipment and keep a high level of quality standards.

What are your key responsibilities?

Keeping our labs organized based on 5S principles. Learn and operate according to our Standard Operating Procedures to keep our quality standards high.

Keep the lab up and running in its daily operations by maintaining stock levels of glassware, equipment and supplies in our Mosa Meat facility.

Making sure reusable lab glass ware is cleaned throughout the day by operation of the autoclave and glassware washer.

Daily, scheduled and preventative cleaning and maintenance of equipment and our lab facility according to our QA standards.

Coordinate with the manager in many day-to-day activities.

Collaborate with our inside and outside repair technicians to initiate and resolve typical service needs on equipment.

Order and stock management of lab consumables and (possible new) equipment by working closely with our logistics team.

  • We are looking for a technician with vocational training. MBO/MLO (NL), A2 (BE),

  • Laboratory technology

  • Eye for detail and passionate about organization.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • A hardworking, flexible, and dedicated team-player.

  • Excellent in documentation and registration.

  • Good verbal English communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Clear communication.
